SM(E) Series

The SM(E) series is a new generation of thermostatic expansion valve that can replace the valve plug. It is an important part of the refrigeration and air conditioning system. It is installed between the accumulator and the evaporator, so that the high temperature and high pressure liquid cooling can be throttled to low pressure wet steam. Because of the evaporation and absorption of low-pressure wet steam, the cooling system achieves the purpose of cooling.

General

The SM(E) series is a new generation of thermostatic expansion valve that can replace the valve plug. It is an important part of the refrigeration and air conditioning system. It is installed between the accumulator and the evaporator, so that the high temperature and high pressure liquid cooling can be throttled to low pressure wet steam. Because of the evaporation and absorption of low-pressure wet steam, the cooling system achieves the purpose of cooling.

Superheat regulation

Unscrew the seal nut, rotate the adjusting rod, rotate clockwise to increase the degree of superheat (turning down), counter-clockwise to decrease the degree of superheat (opening), and increase the degree of superheat by approximately 90 degrees (1/4 turn). For 1K, (the degree of superheat increases or decreases by about 4K per rotation), each time the rotation is rotated 90° (1/4 turn), the unit should be allowed to run for 20 minutes to observe whether the system meets the set conditions and then make a second time. Adjustment.

Installation

It can be installed anywhere, but it must be near the distributor or evaporator inlet.

The direction of refrigerant flow in the system is consistent with the direction of the arrow on the valve body.

The temperature-sensing package should be installed so that the temperature-sensing package can fully experience the outlet temperature of the evaporator. The external equalization pipe is installed near the temperature-sensing package and leads out from the top of the return pipe.

Note: The nominal cooling capacity is based on the evaporating temperature te=4.4°C, the condensing temperature tc=40°C, and the pre-valve refrigerant temperature t1=38°C.

Note: If you need welded pipe structure, please discuss with the company.
